SYNAPSE CONNECT MEDICON VALLEY (CLOSED)
SYNAPSE CONNECT MEDICON VALLEY
The Life Hackathon will be part of “Synapse Connect Medicon valley”, a 3-day trip of exploration of the Biotech and Pharma landscape of the area surrounding Greater Copenhagen and the South of Sweden, for students with a background or a high interest in the Life Science industry.

THE LIFE HACKATHON
The students will be divided into groups and challenged to solve one of 3 SDGs by coming up with ideas based on their academic and professional background. The solutions proposed at the end of the life hackathon will be evaluated on how innovative the idea is, whether the idea is feasible, as well as the SDG Impact.
OFFERINGS
On the day of the event, the teams will be mentored by the Synapse team and by professionals in the field of the SDG they decided to focus on. Using the HelloScience platform, the ideas will be recorded and protected, giving the teams the chance to build on their ideas even after the event. Bright and promising ideas can then be incubated into solid projects with support from HelloScience. The winning team will be invited to the HelloScience Live Lab.

THE CONNECT MEDICON VALLEY JOURNEY

Connect Medicon Valley will be a 3 day showcase of all the amazing science underway on both sides of Øresund. We will be visiting large and small biotech and exciting start-ups, and seeing how all these players contribute to the ecosystem here in Medicon Valley.
